About me

After finishing my bachelor's degree in psychology at Lund University in 2020, I became distraught with the dominant methods and ideas within the field that reduced the complexity of the psyche to quantifiable behaviours. I realised this would  make me a statistician or laboratory researcher but not a competent therapist. 

I continued studying sociology, literature, religion and the history of ideas at various Swedish universities with the acute yearning of becoming a therapist still occupying me. 

Through a series of synchronicities, I ended up at Academy Depth Psychology in Nijmegen in 2022 (formerly known as the Jungian institute Rump Academy). An excellent institute that for decades  has trained students in  becoming successful psychoanalytically oriented therapists that bring about true lasting change to lifelong psychological issues.

Whilst I am aware of the many diagnoses within the DSM-V, such as ADHD, autism, psychopathy, anxiety disorder and depression, I will never reduce my patients to a label or a behaviour that needs to be modified.   Instead I will take my time to listen to your life story, only then and in combination with the methods learned in analytical psychology, will I be able to help you bring about the true inner transformation that many seek and intuitively know is possible, but don't achieve with traditionally trained psychologists whom cannot fathom or work with the true nature of the psyche.
